1. download world of warcraft. you can do this cheaply by either downloading it from https://signup.worldofwarcraft.com/trial/index.html or by going to your local gamestop/ebgames and picking up the $2 trial disk.

2. download the burning crusade expansion free from http://untoldwow.com/downloads/BurningCrusade.exe

3. using notepad, open your realmlist.wtf file. if you saved it to where it is default, it should be in C:\Program Files\World of Warcraft

4. change your reamlist to untold.hopto.org . it should look like this:

set realmlist untold.hopto.org
set patchlist us.version.worldofwarcraft.com

5. go to http://untoldwow.com/

6. click

7. click UntoldWoW Signup

8. fill in the needed information. no personal info is needed

9. go into world of warcraft and put in your username and password

10. dowload the patches (you may have to log in a few times to get all paches)

11. go into world of warcraft and put in your username and password, again

12. pick a realm, create a character, and start playing, without payments

13. give disk to a friend to start playing
